Executive Short Course on Resources Management using the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources
On 22 October, EIT Raw Materials and the International Raw Materials Observatory will co-organise an “Executive Short Course on Resources Management using the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources”. This one-day course on the UNFC is designed for senior policymakers and industry leaders from the public and private sector and will be held at the Centre International de Conferences (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland. It will provide the know-how and insights required to work towards better management and governance of oil, gas, mineral and anthropogenic resources and contribute to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals. At the end of the course, the participants will be able to use the United Nations Framework Classification for Resources (UNFC) as a resources’ management tool.
Registration for the course is now open and we invite you to sign up as soon as possible as places are distributed on a first-come-first-served basis and only 20 seats are available. Registration is free of charge for all EIT Raw Materials partners and European Geologist title holders. Please register now via: intraw.eu/course-resources-management-2019/
The short course is organised back-to-back with the World Resources Forum (WRF) 2019 which will be held from 23 to 24 October 2019 at the Centre International de Conferences (CICG) in Geneva, Switzerland. WRF 2019 will be centred on the theme of ‘Anchoring Natural Resources and Raw Materials Management for Achieving Sustainable Consumption and Production’.
